PROFIBUS - The Plantwide Worldwide Fieldbus - is the world's leading vendor independent open fieldbus standard for use in manufacturing and process automation. It is standardised under IEC 61158. The UK-based PROFIBUS Group is funded entirely by UK member subscriptions. Our mission is to support UK industry in taking advantage of the opportunities for increased productivity, lowered costs and global standards afforded by embracing PROFIBUS. The BSSA has 4 principle areas of activity:

Specifically to sectors including, meat packaging, general packaging, printing and paper, metallurgy, electronics, plastics, material handling, chemical and pharmaceutical production and many more.
I have worked with many sales engineers and project engineers to develop their understanding of the applied technology. Developing skills and knowledge in sufficient depth to allow them to add value to solution seeking when working in partnership with OEM's, end users and engineering houses.
